Livingston School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School And More

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The first day of school in Livingston is September 4 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Livingston School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 9/4: First Day of School
• 9/10 - 9/11: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

October

• 10/8: 2-Hour Delayed Opening

November

• 11/5 - 11/7: Early Dismissal/Elementary Parent Teacher Conferences
• 11/8 - 11/9: No School (NJEA Convention)
• 11/21: Early Dismissal
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/21: Early Dismissal
• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• 1/29: Early Dismissal (High School Only)

February

• 2/5: School Closed (Staff Development)
• 2/15 - 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day Weekend)

March

• 3/4: 2 Hour Delayed Opening
• 3/13 - 3/15: Early Dismissal/Elementary Parent Teacher Conferences

April

• 4/15 - 4/19: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/17: Early Dismissal (LHS Only)
• 6/18: Early Dismissal
• 6/19: Last Day of School/Early Dismissal
