The Livingston Municipal Court handled one criminal case last week.
In State v. Anthony Ortiz, of Elizabeth, the State charged Ortiz with driving while on the revoked list and possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.
As part of the plea agreement, the driving charge was dismissed and Ortiz was sentenced to a conditional discharge program for one year. No fine was imposed, but the Court imposed $33 in court costs, a $50 VCCO penalty, a $75 safe neighborhood fee, a $50 state laboratory fee, a $50 DARE fee, a $500 Drug Enforcement Reduction fee, and a $75 conditional discharge fee.
