National Night Out And More on Tuesday

  • The Livingston Police Department will hold its fifth National Night Out on Tuesday at the Memorial Oval. The free event begins at 5:30 p.m. and offers food and soft drinks, rides, face painting, balloons and carnival games for children, giveaways, live bands, a DJ, law enforcement displays, safety and security demonstrations and anti-drug activities. The local band Going Dark will headline National Night Out. 
  • The Old Guard, comprised of retired and semi-retired Livingston men, will meet for a general meeting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the Livingston Senior/Community Center.
  • Go take a hike in South Mountain Reservation! The reservation is filled with light and moderate paths for all ages, and the weather is expected to reach a high of 82 degrees with partly cloudy skies. Take a look at a map of the reservation and plan your hike today: http://www.essex-countynj.org/p/parks/sites/maps/southmount.jpg
