Play Ball!

Livingston Senior Baseball League kicks off season Saturday at noon.

The Livingston Senior Baseball League will be opening their 2012
season tomorrow, Saturday, April 14.

The league, open to all players 13-16-years old, is entering
its' eleventh season.

Mayor Steven Santola will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at noon. He is being honored for his efforts in creating Okner Field.

During that time, more than 1,100 children have participated in the league, which plays a 14-game regular season followed by a two-game double-elimination playoff series in June.

In addition, the league sponsors summer teams in local leagues, allowing children the opportunity to play baseball through the end of July.
