Primary Election Nears In Livingston (See Candidate List)
Several Democrat and Republican candidates will appear on the ballot this year in Livingston. Here's who made the cut for the 2025 primary.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The home stretch to the 2025 primary election has begun in Livingston.
Livingston voters will join others across New Jersey on June 10 when they head to the polls for this year’s primary election.
Democratic and Republican candidates will compete for their party’s nomination. The winners of the primary will face off again in the general election on Nov. 4, which will also include third-party and independent candidates.

The Essex County Clerk’s Office recently released sample ballots for each town and city, including Livingston. A ballot draw was held for governor and Democratic Statehouse races earlier this month.
Livingston voters won’t face any local choices in the primary, but will get to cast ballots for governor and two state Assembly members in the 27th district (the Republican candidates are running unopposed). Voters will also cast ballots for county clerk (both candidates are running unopposed).

- REPUBLICANS – Mario Kranjac, Jon Bramnick, Jack Ciattarelli, Justin Barbera, Bill Spadea
NJ ASSEMBLY, 27th DISTRICT (vote for two)
- DEMOCRATS – Alixon Collazos-Gill, Blake Michael, Rosy Bagolie, Rohit Dave
- REPUBLICANS – Robert Iommazzo, Adam Kraemer
ESSEX COUNTY CLERK
- DEMOCRATS – Christopher Durkin
- REPUBLICANS – Maritza Mathews
The voter registration deadline for the primary election is May 20.
Early voting for the primary election will take place from June 3 to June 8 in Essex County. Voting hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. >> See Early Voting Locations In Essex County For 2025 Primary Election
