PSEG Tree Trimming, Removal In Livingston Will Start After New Year
PSE&G will perform vegetation maintenance for their electric transmission lines that run through Livingston. See a list of impacted streets.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — PSE&G is expected to begin vegetation maintenance for their electric transmission lines that run through Livingston in the new year, town officials recently announced.
The work will start on or after Jan. 1, 2025. It will continue throughout the year, officials said.

“The vegetation management will be in compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements which will include removal of incompatible trees within the PSE&G rights-of-way and trimming of branches originating from trees outside the rights-of-way that hang over or cross onto the rights-of-way. Maintaining vegetation surrounding power lines will help to prevent or mitigate any future outages.”
Prior to the start of work, affected property owners will notified via certified mail and also in person, if necessary.
