Wiffle Ball Clinic Sunday for Special Needs Kids

Livingston Advisory Committee for Disabilities plans Winter Sports Clinic.

The Livingston Advisory Committee for Disabilities will hold its annual free Wiffle Ball Clinic for children with special needs on Sunday, March 4 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Sunday’s clinic, the last of four Winter Sports Clinics, will be held at the West Essex YMCA, located at 321 S. Livingston Ave. in Livingston.

“New volunteers have been helping out at the Winter Sports Clinics this season,” says LACD co-chair Bob Gebroe, who leads the clinics. “We have the support of the Livingston High School girls’ freshman, junior varsity and varsity basketball teams. We are thrilled with their help and enthusiasm.”

In addition to the girls teams are the long-time LHS Key Club “regulars,” who have supported the clinics by volunteering for years, as well as dedicated parents and teens in the community.

Parents and siblings of the children are welcome to join in the play or take the hour to socialize with other parents. No pre-registration is required since the clinic is drop-in.
