2021 Municipal Budget Up For Public Hearing At Council Meeting
The Long Branch City Council will also hold a public hearing on an ordinance regarding regulations for future utility installations.

LONG BRANCH, NJ – The Long Branch city council will be holding a public hearing and possible adoption of its 2021 municipal budget during Wednesday’s council meeting.
Before the public meeting, the council will be adopting a resolution amending the current budget so that an expected $9,165 less in library tax would be accounted for.
When the budget was introduced at the council’s June 9 meeting, the budget had a five-cent decrease in the municipal tax rate and an overall tax rate decrease of nine cents.

There will also be a public hearing on the borough’s ordinance setting guidelines for future installation of wireless telecommunications equipment like utility poles.
The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcasted on the city's YouTube page.
