COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic To Take Place In Long Branch

The clinic is offering both booster shots and first and or second doses of the Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson vaccines.

LONG BRANCH, NJ – Mayor John Pallone announced on Friday that the city of Long Branch, in partnership with the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey (VNACJ), will be administering COVID-19 booster shots for those that are eligible and first and second doses for those that are not fully vaccinated at the Bucky James Community Center on Tuesday, Aug. 31 and Thursday, Sept. 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"Thank you to the VNA, Health Department, and OEM for once again making this possible for our residents. It was important to our administration to have a clinic here in Long Branch for our residents, and we hope that those who are eligible for the booster shot will take advantage of our clinic," Mayor John Pallone said in a statement.

COVID-19 vaccines will be provided to residents who are at least 12 years old, and a parent or guardian must accompany anyone under the age of 18. Pfizer, Moderna, and the Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available.

Walk-ins are all welcome, and all people should bring a form of I.D., an insurance card if you have one, and a COVID-19 vaccine card so that a second or third dose needs to be added.

The Bucky James Community Center is located at 231 Wilbur Ray Avenue, Long Branch, NJ., and the vaccination site will be open on Tuesday, Aug. 31, and again on Thursday, Sept. 2. After that, it will be open to Long Branch resident walk-ins only every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
