Eatontown Council

The Eatontown Council will meet on Wednesday night, July 24, at Eatontown Borough Hall at 7 p.m.

There are a few interesting items on the agenda including the borough's application to the New Jersey Department of Transportation for municipal aid and a discussion of using closed session to discuss Fort Monmouth matters.

Eatontown Mayor Gerald Tarantolo has said there is a specific agenda item during Eatontown Council meetings that deals with Fort Monmouth, and that he not always able to discuss Fort Monmouth dealings with the council in public or executive session.

Several Eatontown Council members have asked for more transparency when it comes to Fort Monmouth matters.
