Eatontown Recreation Plans Halloween Events

Two programs aimed for younger and middle-aged children planned

 

The Eatontown Recreation Department has planned two Halloween-themed events for children this week.

Both programs are part of the department's 2012 Halloween Celebration and are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 20.

The first is set for 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Eatontown Community Center at 72 Broad St. Earl Hicks of Zoom Entertainment will perform a show for younger children.

The second program will run from 2 to 4 p.m., at 68 Broad St. It is designed for older children and is scary, according to the Recreation Department.

It is suggested for children ages 8 and up, who will tour a haunted house near the community center.

Children are asked to come in costume to both events, which are free and will be held rain or shine.
