Hackensack Meridian Health To Open New Facility In Eatontown

The facility will fill out stores formerly occupied by Eastern Mountain Sports and DSW.

EATONTOWN, NJ – R.J. Brunelli & Co. LLC announced that it recently completed leases that will bring a new 45,600-square-foot Hackensack-Meridian Health outpatient care facility with an urgent care center, scheduled to open Spring 2022.

Hackensack Meridian’s location is being created by combining the former Eastern Mountain Sports and DSW spaces and a portion of the former Toys ‘R’ Us store at Monmouth Plaza Shopping Center on Route 35 in Eatontown. DSW is relocating to the Consumer Centre on Route 36 in West Long Branch.

R.J. Brunelli represented property owner Monmouth Plaza Enterprises, LLC, and Jeffrey Babikian of CBRE represented Hackensack Meridian.

“This lease is emblematic of the healthcare industry’s adaptive re-use of big-box retail buildings at well-located sites,” Ms. Brunelli said in a statement. “We were pleased to work with the landlord and tenant to assemble this major space along this highly-trafficked retail corridor.”
