Info Needed On Collision Involving Bicyclist: Officials

The Long Branch Police Department and the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office are looking for information about a car hitting a cyclist.

LONG BRANCH, NJ – The Long Branch Police Department and the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office are looking for information regarding a collision between a car and a bicyclist, seriously injuring the bicyclist.

On July 23 at approximately 9:47 pm on Garfield Avenue, the collision occurred east of Memorial Parkway in Long Branch.

The vehicle, possibly a 2009 – 2014 Hyundai Sonata with damage to the front passenger side-view mirror, was traveling westbound on Garfield Avenue when the collision with the bicyclist occurred.
