Long Branch Bars Can Stay Open Until 5 a.m.

Be proactive and arrange for rides home before you go out to celebrate on New Year's Eve, police say.

LONG BRANCH, NJ - There will plenty of time to welcome in the New Year in Long Branch.

Bars in the city can stay open from New Year's Eve until 5 a.m. on New Year's Day, according to the police department website.

So Long Branch police are urging resident to be proactive and make sure they have a designated driver or schedule a cab before the celebrations begin.

"...cab companies will most likely be very busy," according to the post. "Have a safe and Happy New Year."
