LONG BRANCH, NJ – The Long Branch City Council is introducing an ordinance that would give the city a say on installing new 5G wireless nodes and other future telecommunications equipment at Wednesday night’s council meeting.

A similar ordinance has been established in Belmar to establish set guidelines for installing things like utility poles so that the aesthetics of residential areas are maintained as best as possible.

The council is also holding a public hearing and possible adoption of fees for the city’s new municipal pool at Pleasure Bay Park.
