Long Branch Council To Vote on Proposed Beer Garden
The Long Branch Council will meet tonight at 6 p.m.

By Christopher Sheldon
The Long Branch Council will review and possibly approve proposed plans to build a beer garden on Second Avenue.
A developer is looking to a warehouse with a beer garden/art gallery/event area to Second Avenue in the Broadway Gateway redevelopment zone.
The council and city zoning or planning board would have to approve the plan because of its location in the redevelopment zone.
The developer is proposing a smaller footprint than what currently exists, but would likely need a use variance for the beer garden.
The plans will be presented by the developer's principal and design architect at the 6 p.m. Long Branch Council Workshop and the council could vote on a resolution approving Second Avenue Warehouse LLC as the redeveloper for the property.
