Long Branch Elks Hosting Fundraiser For Sick Infant
Charity dinner, auction and raffle set for Oct. 27
The Long Branch Elks Lodge No. 742 is hosting a fundraiser for a local infant who is suffering from various medical problems.
The Elks will hold a charitable dinner, auction and raffle on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 1 to 6 p.m. at the lodge at 150 Garfield Ave., Long Branch. All funds raised will be used for medical expenses for 10-month-old triplet Jared Gaedt, of Neptune, who suffers from periventricular leuokomalacia, infantile spasms, and chronic lung disease.

Jared was born 11 weeks early at Jersey Shore Medical Center and spent the first 12 weeks of his life in the neonatal intensive care unit. He recently was hospitalized for weeks and was in the intensive care unit for 10 of those days because of his seizures.
