Long Branch Looking For Seasonal Cops For 2019
The officers will start on Memorial Day and finish up on Labor Day

LONG BRANCH, NJ - It may be only mid-summer 2018, but the Long Branch police department is already looking ahead to the summer of 2019.
Anyone who would like to become a seasonal law enforcement officer during the next year's tourism season can go pick up an application at the police department or online at http://bit/ly/SLEOapp2018.
"We will likely hire between 15-20, depending on how many officers return," Lt. Joshua Bard said.

The season will run from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Completed applications must be handed in at an open house that starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15 in the city council chambers on the second floor of City Hall at 344 Broadway.
