Long Branch School Janitor Loses Job For Distributing Child Porn
Randy Hull of South Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ - A Long Branch schools janitor who pleaded guilty to distributing child pornography will lost his job with the public school system, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.
Randy Hull, 44, South Toms River pleaded guilty on Jan. 30 before Ocean County Superior Court Judge James M. Blaney, said Al Della Fave, a spokesman for the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.
Hull’s guilty plea stems from his August 10, 2016 arrest by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s High Tech Crime Unit. The arrest was part of a six-month investigation, dubbed "Operation Statewide," by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force which Prosecutor's High Tech Unit is a member.

The operation tracked images of the sexual exploitation of minors circulating on Internet file-sharing networks to individual IP addresses, which led police to the home addresses of suspects in each of the state's 21 counties. Details of Hull’s arrest and the others were reported in the August 15, 2016 release by the NJ State Attorney General’s Office.
Hull remains free on posted $75,000 bail pending his March 23 sentencing.
