Monmouth County DWI Task Force Will Be On Duty Friday Night

Officers will be pulling cars off Route 35 off the Asbury Circle, police chief says

OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - You've been warned.

The Monmouth County DWI Task force will conduct a Driving While Intoxicated checkpoint on Route 35 from 10 p.m. on Friday night until 2 a.m. on Saturday, to search for drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Task force members and officers from the Ocean Township Police Department will pull vehicles from the northbound lanes off the Asbury Circle to determine driver’s sobriety, said Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer, who is the task force coordinator.
