Monmouth Medical Center To Debut New Labor And Delivery Unit

The dedication ceremony is Aug. 14

LONG BRANCH, NJ - Monmouth Medical Center is preparing to debut an expanded labor and delivery unit at the Eisenberg Family Center at Monmouth Medical Center next week.

All of the labor and delivery units have been renovated and an expanded, centrally located nurses station has been added, according to a hospital release.

Long Branch Mayor John Pallone is expected to attend the dedication ceremony from noon to 1 p.m. on Aug. 14 at the SeaBreeze Cafe at the hospital at 300 Second Avenue.

Other hospital officials expected to attend include Bill Arnold, President and Chief Executive Officer of the medical center; Robert Graebe, M.D., Chairman and Program Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Suzanne Spernal, DNP, Administrative Director of Women’s Services at the medical center.

Nearly 5,500 babies are born at Monmouth Medical Center each year, more than any other regional facility. Monmouth Medical Center has been a Level III Regional Perinatal Center for more than 40 years ago and is one of the one safest obstetrical and gynecologic services in the nation, the release states.
