Overdose Awareness Event To Take Place At Long Branch City Hall

The event will feature speakers and information on how to deal with the loss of a loved one due to a drug overdose.

LONG BRANCH, NJ – The Prevention Coalition of Monmouth County, Preferred Behavioral Health Group, and Long Branch H.E.A.R.S. is holding an awareness event on Aug. 29 to raise awareness and show support for those who have lost a loved one to a drug overdose.

The event will be at Long Branch City from 1:30 to 4 p.m. and will include tributes to loved ones, resource tables, and a photo clothesline of loved ones lost.

There will also be featured speakers, including Long Branch Mayor John Pallone, Monmouth County Commissioner Deputy Director Susan M. Kiley, Acting Prosecutor Lori Linskey, and Preferred Behavioral Health Group CEO Mary Pat Angelini.
