Parks In Eatontown, Long Branch Get Money For Improvements
On Nov. 14, the Monmouth County Board of Commissioners awarded grants to 27 Monmouth towns to make park improvements.

EATONTOWN, NJ — On Nov. 14, the Monmouth County Board of Commissioners awarded grants to 27 Monmouth County towns to make park improvements.
Eatontown was given $161,370 from the county to replace a bridge in the F. Bliss Arboretum and Wildlife Sanctuary. Long Branch was given $361,817 to make Van Court Park improvements (not specified). And West Long Branch was given $72,363 to make improvements to Valenzano Park (not specified).
The work on all three will start in 2026.

The municipalities that were awarded funding through the 2025 Municipal Open Space Grant program and the amount each awardee received were as follows:
