Purchase of New Police Car Lights To be Approved By Council

The city council will approve the resolution at Wednesday's council meeting.

LONG BRANCH, NJ – The Long Branch City Council will be awarding a contract during Wednesday’s council meeting to purchase emergency lights for seven police cars.

According to the resolution on the agenda, the city will be rewarding East Coast Emergency Lightning with a contract for $69,460.44 to purchase the police lights.

The city council is also approving a resolution approving a change order for the City Hall roof replacement project. The resolution would approve the increase of the initial $434,000 to $472, 511.22.

According to the resolution, the $38,511.22 change was needed to new “health and safety issues.”
