Rained-Out Long Branch Columbus Day Parade Rescheduled To Sunday
There wasn't a rain date originally scheduled, but the city and parade officials came together to make it happen.

LONG BRANCH, NJ – Despite not originally having a rain date, Long Branch’s yearly Columbus Day Parade will take place this Sunday, Oct. 17.
According to city officials, the city along with parade organizers got together to make a rain date happen.
There are no changes in regards to both the start time for the parade as well as the parade’s route.

The parade will start at the Middle School at 1 p.m. and will head down Bath Avenue to Broadway then down Broadway to Morris Avenue the up Morris to the parade’s end at Morris Avenue School.
These sections of road will be closed starting at 11 a.m. on parade day so expected traffic and congestion in these areas.
