Reminder: Newman Springs Road Traffic Shift Begins Monday Night

A traffic shift will begin on Monday evening while construction on the Newman Spring Road bridge which connects Red Bank and Tinton Falls continues.
The four-lane road will be reduced to two lanes, one westbound and one eastbound, a message on the Tinton Falls web site states.

'This will be a 24-hour lane shift and will last till the end of November 2013," the message states. "The project is being performed by the Monmouth County Engineers Office"
The traffic shift will start after the evening rush hour, according to an e-mail from the county.

Motorists should expect some traffic delays throughout the length of the construction project. There will also be no access for pedestrians to cross the bridge.
