Sunny Skies For Monmouth Beaches, But Rip Current Risk Continues
Showers and thunderstorms are possible later in the afternoon, heavy rain on Tuesday

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ - The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies today at Monmouth County beaches, but be sure to watch for rips.
There's a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms later in the afternoon. Enjoy the sun today. Heavy rain is on the way for Tuesday.
The rip current risk is moderate, as it has been for the past week. Check with the local beach patrols before heading in the water. Never swim on an unguarded beach and never, ever swim alone or at night. There have been too many drownings already this summer. Don't be one of the statistics.
