West Long Branch Fireworks to Light Up Franklin Lake
Fireworks are held in conjunction with borough's Summer Concert Series.

If you grew up in West Long Branch, chances are, the fireworks at were a childhood tradition that you looked forward to every year.
This Fourth of July, the tradition will remain in place as the borough puts on a dazzling display of fireworks at Franklin Lake Park.

Families can bring their blankets and find that perfect spot to watch the spectacle, and in turn, begin passing along a tradition to their children.
A concert by the Angeltones will begin the night at 7 p.m. and will be followed by the fireworks at 9 p.m.

Roads around Franklin Lake Park will be closed in the hours leading up to the concert and fireworks. The West Long Branch Police usually announce which roads will be closed prior to the start of the festivities.
