$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold In New Jersey

New Jersey was one of two states to have a $1 million ticket in the Saturday, March 16 drawing. The jackpot remains unclaimed.

NEW JERSEY β€” It was a very good Saturday night for one New Jersey lottery player, who won $1 million in the Powerball drawing.

The winning numbers for the Saturday, March 16 drawing were 30, 34, 39, 53, 67; the Powerball was 11 and the Power Play was 2x. Lottery officials did not say where in New Jersey the ticket was sold; the store is expected to be announced Monday. The jackpot, now an estimated $500 million, went unwon.

Several smaller prizes also went to New Jersey players: three $50,000 tickets and one $100,000 ticket was sold in the state, nj.com reported.

Another $1 million ticket was sold in neighboring Pennsylvania, and a $2 million ticket was sold in North Dakota.

The last time the Powerball jackpot was won was in December. The next drawing will be held on Wednesday, March 20.
