• Long Valley Playwright, 20, To Return To NYC Stage (patch.com) — Long Valley’s own Ella Villani, a 20-year-old playwright and West Morris Central graduate, is bringing her second original musical to a New York City stage. Her new show, “INDIGO,” a darker, plot-driven piece critiquing generative AI, will run at Green Room 42 on Dec. 28 with both in-person and livestream ticket options. Villani hopes her work inspires more opportunities for female and non-binary composers while showing audiences that healing and creative independence are possible.
   

• 2 Charged After Giving Phony IDs To Washington Twp. Police, Cops Say (patch.com) — Washington Township police in Long Valley recently stopped an unregistered, uninsured vehicle on Drakestown Road and say both occupants gave false identification. The male driver, who allegedly has an extensive criminal history and parole violations, was later arrested with help from state and federal officers. Both individuals now face criminal complaints and multiple motor vehicle charges.
