2.1 Miles Of Long Valley Road Targeted For Repaving In 2019
25 miles of roads in 23 different Morris County towns will be repaved this year.

LONG VALLEY, NJ β The annual list of county roadway projects has been released, and Long Valley will see 2.1 miles of a major road resurfaced.
East Mill Road / Washington Turnpike / West Main Street will be paved between East Valley Brook Road and Route 206, in a span that crosses the border of Washington Township and goes through the Chesters.
Across the county, 25 miles of roads in 23 different towns will be paved. Work is expected to start in April and proceed as weather permits.

These county projects are in addition to any state or local projects on deck for 2019.
"Keeping our county road network in excellent shape is of key importance to our residents and businesses, and to ensuring Morris Countyβs place as a first class, top- rated county," said Freeholder Director Doug Cabana.

The largest section of road is a 4.4 mile stretch of North Road and Dover Chester Road in Chester and Randolph.
