2 Hospitalized Following Washington Township Car Crash: Police
One of the drivers was issued a motor vehicle summons for careless driving, according to the Washington Township Police Department.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Two people were hospitalized following a car collision late Monday night in Washington Township.
According to police, the two-car collision occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on the bridge spanning the South Branch of the Raritan River at Schooley's Mountain Road.
According to Lt. Chris Bratus, police arrived on the scene at 10:05 p.m., and crews from Long Valley First Aid Squad Rescue 1 used special tools to remove the door of one vehicle in order to better access and assess one patient.

Two people were taken to Hackettstown Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, with a third individual being treated on the scene by emergency personnel, officials said.
The driver of the Honda CRV was later issued a motor vehicle summons for careless driving and failure to maintain lane, Bratus said.
