Busy night of accolades and achievements for Washington Twp. police.

It was a parade of achievements for the Washington Township Police Department at Monday night’s township committee meeting, as three officers were promoted, two were commended for line of duty actions, and one honored for his decades of service.

Sgt. Christopher Bratus became the department’s newest lieutenant through promotion, with Cpl. Michael Hade earning the rank of sergeant, and Officer Adam Feichter rising to corporal.

Sgt. Robert Oranchak, Cpl. David Marut, and Officer Roger Garrison were recognized by both the Washington Township Committee and Senator Bucco’s office for their life-saving tactics by using Narcan to revive a woman who overdosed on heroin last month.
