5 Halloween Events In Long Valley (Besides Trick-Or-Treating)
There's plenty to do this Halloween season, from trunk-or-treating to spooky 5k runs and Halloween farm events.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Not into the trick-or-treating scene this year? Believe it or not, there are things to do on Halloween that aren't related to trick-or-treating.
There are a variety of reasons why your family may not want to visit the neighbors for candy, but that doesn't mean you have to stay at home with the lights turned off.
For Halloween fans young and old wishing to mix it up or stretch out the festivities, Long Valley has you covered.

Here are five events in and around Long Valley, besides traditional trick-or-treating:
Trunk-or-Treat

Oct. 30, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Immanuel Lutheran Church will hold a free fall festival complete with trunk-or-treating. Attendees will receive candy as they walk from one decorated car trunk to another, just as they would from one house to another.
The festival will also include games and snacks for everyone's enjoyment. Find more information here.
Ort Farms Boo Bash
Oct. 29-30
Boo Bash will include a trick-or-treat trail. Participants should come in costume since many community groups and vendors will pass out candy.
Evolution and Jay N Vern will provide live music on Oct. 29, while John Lepre and Flexible Flyers perform on Oct. 30. Fall activities will be open, including hayrides, the corn maze and pumpkin patch.

Long Valley Halloween 5K
Oct. 29, starts at 9:30 a.m.
The fun run begins at 9: 30 a.m. on Oct. 29 at Flocktown-Kossman Elementary School, which is located at 90 Flocktown Road in Long Valley. All attendees, including ghouls and ghosts, are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume for the run.
All proceeds benefit the Long Valley First Aid Squad (LVFAS) in its mission to serve Washington Township residents and neighboring communities.

Morristown Game Vault Halloween Cosplay Nite
Oct. 28, from 7-11 p.m., Morristown Game Vault (22 South St.)
Attention gamers and cosplay fans, Morristown's center for classic gaming will host its annual Halloween celebration. The event is open for all ages to celebrate the season, compete for prizes and enjoy some retro games.
Cosplay, homemade and store-bought costumes are all welcome. And costumes won't be required for the special discounted rate of $20, but they're highly encouraged. Find more info here.
Haunted Zombie Laser Tag at Centenary University
Oct. 28, from 7-9 p.m.
Centenary University is the location of a haunted zombie lair. Guests will be armed for battle as they move through this creepy mansion. Visitors are given a laser tag gun and 30 minutes in which to hunt or be hunted.
