Antique Car Parade Along Columbia Trail In Long Valley

Check out all of the pre-1932 cars at the special event.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Usually reserved for hikers, Columbia Trail will see a parade of classic cars this weekend during the Trek Along The Columbia Trail.

The trek will start at the trail head at Bartly Road at 10:30 a.m. on June 8. The course will take the cars down to Middle Valley, and back into Long Valley on Route 513. June 15 is the rain date.

This car event will be unlike others: Only cars built between 1905 and 1932 will be allowed, no hot rods. "Return in your pre 1932 antique car to an era when Henry Ford built his 'Flivver' to replace the horse drawn buck board in rural America," the event description says.
