Long Valley Man Hospitalized After Tree-Trimming Fall: Cops

Injuries are non-life threatening, police said.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. - A Long Valley man was taken by helicopter to Morristown Medical Center Thursday morning after falling to the ground during tree-trimming, Lt. Doug Compton said.

The incident occurred on West Mill Road when the man, 51, fell about 15-feet to the ground, Compton said.

He was taken by helicopter but his status is currently unknown, but the injuries are non-life threatening, Compton said.
