During the second Saturday of each month, members of the Washington Township Democratic Committee collect donation for the township’s food pantry. The next collection date is Saturday, January 10th, 2026, at the Washington Township library located on W. Springtown Road. Collection hours are between 10:00 AM and noon. Donations of non-perishable food items, cleaning products, paper products and toiletries are appreciated. Cash and Shop Rite gift cards are also welcomed, checks must be payable to LVCAP. Please help your neighbors in need with a donation this Saturday. No donation is too small or too large.
During 2025, the Democratic Committee’s efforts resulted in the collection of 55 bags of groceries and $1,867 in cash/gift card donations for the pantry. Special thanks to the committee members dedicated to make this happen year after year. Please come out this Saturday and subsequent monthly collection Saturdays to help make 2026 as successful as 2025.
