Car Show, Monster Trucks Join Traditional Morris Co 4-H Fair Exhibits

The fair takes place at the end of July, and the schedule is jam-packed with demonstrations, shows, contests, and plenty else to see and do.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Local youth are preparing to showcase their farm animals and share their skills and knowledge at the 2024 Morris County 4-H Fair, taking place at the end of July.

And along with the exhibits and animal shows will be musical entertainment, a car show on Sunday, and monster truck rides.

The Country Store will also have items for sale donated by 4-H families. There will be plenty of demonstrations hands-on activities, and contests including dog shows, "cow pie bingo," several 4-H Quiz Bowl competitions, and RC racing.

The Morris County 4-H Fair will be held Friday, July 26 through Sunday, July 28 at High View Farms, 416 Sand Shore Road, Mount Olive. There will be no admission fee, but Morris County 4-H will ask for a suggested donation of $5 per car when you park.

The deadline for most fair entries was Friday, July 5. All Morris County residents in grades K-13 are invited to participate and enter their art, craft or science project, knitting, photos, plants, models, sewing, food, and more. There will also be multiple animal shows, including dogs, goats, reptiles/amphibians, and rabbits.

Hours are Friday, July 26 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, July 27 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, July 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
