Central Alum Snags Collegiate Honors For Baseball Success

Charles Savite put together remarkable week at the plate, set school records.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. – Charles Savite made his mark at West Morris Central, and now he’s doing the same at the collegiate level.

The former Wolfpack baseball player was recently named the Landmark Conference Player Of The Week for his efforts at Moravian College, specifically during an incredible week-long run.

According to moraviansports.com, Savite, the team’s senior first basemen, went 8-for-15 at the plate with three home runs and a 1.333 slugging percentage. Savite scored six runs and drove in another eight, making him the second player in school history to reach 150 career RBIs, now with a total 151. Savite also became the first player in school history to reach 600 career at-bats, and now has 604.
