MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Thousands of customers are without power in Morris County on Friday morning as severe weather conditions pound North Jersey.
According to JCP&L, around 2,300 Morris County properties are without power as of 10:30 a.m. Friday.
Several towns can expect power restoration as late as 11 p.m. Friday.

- Washington (Long Valley): 571 outages, restoration by 4:30 p.m.
- Mount Arlington: 924 outages (30 percent), restoration by 11 p.m.
- Mount Olive: 315 outages (2 percent), restoration by 9 p.m.
- Roxbury: 207 outages (2 percent), restoration by 10 p.m.
- Jefferson: 102 outages, restorations by 10 p.m.
- Randolph: 77 outages, restoration by 3 p.m.
- Dover: 70 outages, restorations by 11 p.m.
- Denville: 58 outages, restorations by 2 p.m.
- Harding: 42 outages, restorations by 1 p.m.
- Montville: 13 outages, restoration by 2 p.m.
- Chester Township: 5 outages, restoration by 9 p.m.
- Lincoln Park: 6 outages, restoration by 1:30 p.m.
- Long Hill: 2 outages, restorations by 4:30 p.m.
- Mendham Borough: 3 outages, restoration by noon
- Mendham Township: 1 outage, restoration by 1 p.m.
- Rockaway Township: 1 outage, restoration by 10 p.m.
- Wharton: 1 outage, restoration by 12:30 p.m.
The outages are likely caused by the severe thunderstorms slamming North Jersey, with wind gusts reaching 60 mph.
