See When Fireworks And Green Festival Is Scheduled This Year In Long Valley

This popular event, held by the Washington Township Green Team, features local groups who focus on eco-consciousness and sustainability.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — The date is set for this year's Long Valley Fireworks and Green Festival, a popular summer event focused around environmental issues and sustainability.

This year's Fireworks and Green Festival will be Saturday, Aug. 24 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Long Valley Middle School, featuring a number of local vendors and organizations as well as food trucks, music, and other festival fun.

The annual event is hosted by the Washington Township Green Team and Long Valley Fire Company, to benefit the fire company and promote eco-consciousness. Vendor registration is open, as well.

Food, music, and the beer garden will open at 6 p.m., with fireworks beginning around 8:45 p.m. In the case of bad weather, the festival will move to Sunday, Aug. 25.

"As we gear up to celebrate another year, we couldn't be more excited to showcase our wonderful local vendors and organizations that embrace sustainability and help to promote eco-consciousness," organizers said.
