Dog, Cat Licenses In Long Valley Need Renewal This Week
$4 late fee for each month pet owner doesn't renew license, township says.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. β If Fluffy or Lucky isnβt licensed in Washington Township, nowβs your chance to do so before incurring late fees.
Per state law, all dogs and cats must be licensed in New Jersey or have existing licenses renewed by Jan. 31.
A proof of rabies vaccination and spaying/neutering (if applicable) is required to license your animal. The rabies vaccination certificate must be valid through Nov. 1 of the licensing year.

In 2016, there are new fees to go with each animalβs license:
- Neutered dog: $10
- Non-neutered dog: $13
- Neutered cat: $9
- Non-neutered cat: $12
