Four men rendered first aid to ill Long Valley resident in December.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. – All the employees of the Washington Township Department of Public Works have a job to do, and each and every one of them does it well.

But one day in December, township employee Troy Nichols, Jacob Hoskin, Lloyd Hoffman and Randy Beam came across a Long Valley resident who began to suffer a medical emergency.

The men jumped into action and rendered first aid until the Long Valley First Aid Squad arrived, who then took over.
