Driver Airlifted To Hospital Following Crash In Long Valley

A Morristown man was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle collision on Saturday afternoon, according to police.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — A Morristown man was hospitalized on Saturday after he was injured in a single-car crash in Washington Township, police said.

The 60-year-old man, whose identity is not being publicly released, was driving on Naughright Road in Long Valley on Saturday afternoon when he crashed.

According to Lt. Chris Bratus, at approximately 2:15 p.m., the driver, who was the sole occupant of the car, crashed and went off the roadway.

The Long Valley First Aid Squad arrived on the scene shortly after and began immediate life-saving intervention, as the driver was trapped inside the vehicle with serious injuries.

The investigation into the collision is currently ongoing for suspicion of DWI and possession of stolen property, Bratus said.
