Drunk Driver, 73, Crashes In Tewksbury, Then Hits Long Valley House: Cops
Pottersville woman was arrested Tuesday night, police said.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. β A Pottersville woman was arrested late Tuesday night after allegedly crashing twice in two separate towns, police said.
Washington Township police officer Kevin Barnes responded to a report of a home being struck by a driver on Parker Road just before 10 p.m. Jan. 5, Lt. Doug Compton said. When Barnes arrived he determined the crash was related to a previous call in Tewksbury concerning a possible drunk driver who was involved in a crash, Compton said.
Barnes then determined the driver, Elsie Ehmann, 73, to be intoxicated, Compton said. The Long Valley First Aid Squad responded to evaluate Mrs. Ehmann and she later refused medical attention, Compton said.
