Drunk Driving, Warrants: Washington Twp Police Blotter

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Washington Township police made several arrests on Dec. 22 and 23, including for drunk driving and warrants. You can read about those arrests as written by police here:
On December 22, 2018 at 1:09 a.m., Patrol Officer Daniel Parrish conducted a motor vehicle stop on Naughright Road for a motor vehicle violation. While speaking to the operator of the vehicle who was identified as Sara Gordon, 25, from Mendham, PO Parish detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from within the vehicle. A subsequent investigation by PO Parrish determined that Ms. Gordon was operating her vehicle while intoxicated. Ms. Gordon was placed under arrest and transported to Washington Township Police Headquarters.
Ms. Gordon was issued motor vehicle complaints for Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving and Failure to Maintain Lane. Ms. Gordon was later released to a responsible adult with a pending court date in Washington Township Municipal Court.

On December 23, 2018 at 2:56 a.m., Patrol Officer Jason Hensley conducted a motor vehicle stop on Kim Lane for a motor vehicle violation. While speaking to the driver who was identified as Dylan Luciano, 21, from Allamuchy, PO Hensley detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from within the vehicle. A subsequent investigation by PO Hensley found that Mr. Luciano was operating his vehicle while intoxicated. Mr. Luciano was placed under arrest and transported to Washington Township Police Headquarters.
Mr. Luciano was issued motor vehicle complaints for Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving and Failure to Keep Right. Mr. Luciano was later released to a responsible adult with a pending court date in Washington Township Municipal Court.

On December 23, 2018 at 1:31 a.m., Patrol Officer Jason Hensley conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 46 for a motor vehicle violation. While speaking to the operator of the vehicle who was identified as Robert Genardi, Jr., 36, Lake Hiawatha, PO Hensley found that Mr. Genardi had to two active warrants issued by Parsippany Municipal Court totaling $2,000.00. Mr. Genardi was able to post the required bail amount for one of the warrants and was released on his own recognizance for the second traffic warrant. Mr. Genardi was later released with a new court date in Parsippany Municipal Court.
On December 23, 2018 at 7:48 a.m., Patrol Officer Jason Hensley conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 46 for an equipment violation. While speaking to the operator of the vehicle, who was identified as Faith Elizandro, 19, from Belvidere, PO Hensley found Ms. Elizandro had an active warrant that was issued by Hackettstown Municipal Court in the amount of $500.00. Ms. Elizandro was later turned over to Hackettstown Police Department.
On December 23, 2018 at 10:16 p.m., Patrol Officer Jason Hensley conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 46 for a motor vehicle violation. While speaking to the operator of the vehicle, who was identified as Anthony Fulton, 29, from Darlington, South Carolina, PO Hensley found that he had several outstanding warrants for his arrest. Mr. Fulton had four warrants issued by Middlesex County, two warrants issued by Pohatcong Municipal Court and two issued by the New Jersey State Police, totaling $2,010.00. Mr. Fulton was placed under arrest and transported to Washington Township Police Headquarters. Mr. Fulton was later released on his own recognizance with new court dates and times for each pending warrants. Mr. Fulton was issued a motor vehicle complaint for Driving While Suspended and later released with a pending court date in Washington Township Municipal Court.
