Fight Hunger, Help Long Valley Food Pantry Super Bowl Weekend
Community program will begin extended hours this Saturday, Feb. 6.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. β Youβve spoken, and the Long Valley Community Assistance Program has listened.
Beginning this Saturday, Feb. 6, the food pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon on the first Saturday of each month. Right now the program is looking for toiletries, cleaning supplies, shelf-stable milk, coffee, pre-packaged meals and other canned goods.
Also this Saturday anyone who drops off donations can enter the programβs SUPER Super Bowl Party Basket which includes a gift certificate for a three-foot sub from Piggyβs Deli, a box of 50 munchkins from Long Valleyβs Dunkinβ Donuts, a $25 Shop Rite gift card, chips, dips, plates and cups. The package is enough for a party of 16 people.

The LVCAP also extended a thank you to the community after it restructured in 2015 and now partners with nine area churches who offered volunteers for the program throughout the year.
The Sponsor-A-Wreath program brought in $11,500 in 2015, which will be used to support the food pantry and emergency assistance.

The food pantry is located at the Long Valley Presbyterian Church at 39 Bartley Road.
