Fire, First Aid Officers Sworn In To 2016 Washington Twp. Posts

LONG VALLEY, N.J. – Washington Township’s largest group of volunteers – the combined groups of the fire department and first aid squad – appointed new leaders for the 2016 year and were sworn in recently at the annual reorganization meeting.

Washington Township’s fire department named the following as its administrators:

• Kurt Wanner, Department Chief
• Robert Drake, 1st Deputy Chief
• Rob Cline, 2nd Deputy Chief

Long Valley Fire Company:

• Kevin Herbst, Company Chief
• Aaron Drake, Asst. Chief
• Pete Griese, Captain
• Lucas Hoskin, Lieutenant

Fairmount Fire Company:

• Tom Granat, Company Chief
• Matt Tamburo, Asst. Chief
• Matt Gorini, Captain
• Corry Waller, Lieutenant

Schooley’s Mtn. Fire Company:

• David Cooke, Company Chief
• William Glennon, Asst. Chief
• Randy Montgomery, Captain
• Rich Ornelas, Lieutenant

The Long Valley First Aid Squad also named its new officers, including:

• Garret Lare, Chief
• Kenneth McGarry, Asst. Chief
• Rebecca Lare, Captain
• Helen Marie Hardgrove, First Lieutenant
• Carolyn Krickus, Second Lieutenant
• Mary Grant, President
