Incumbent, Newcomer Eye Washington Twp. Committee Seats in June Primary
One incumbent won't seek re-election.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. β The Republican June Primary wonβt have any fireworks at the local level in Washington Township this year, but will have some new and familiar names.
Two men have petitioned to be on the ballot June 7, including incumbent James LiaBraaten, who will be seeking a third consecutive term on the committee, and Gregg Forsbrey, a political newcomer who has volunteered with numerous boards and committees in the township over the past several years.
Current committeeman Donald Babb will not seek re-election, and his term will expire Dec. 31 of this year.

No Democrats filed for a spot on the ballot in June, according to the Morris County Clerkβs Office.
The seats up for grabs on the township committee come with three-year commitments.

Another Washington Township resident will be on the ballot, but running for a seat on the Board of Freeholders in Morris County. John Krickus, former township committeeman and mayor as well as a single-term freeholder is seeking another three-year seat on county governing body.
He joins six other Republicans, including three incumbents:
- Doug Cabana (incumbent)
- Kathy DeFillippo (incumbent)
- Roman Hirniak
- Peter King
- Tom Mastrangelo (incumbent)
- Louis Valori
There are five Democrats on the June Primary ballot for Freeholder as well, including:
- Charles Bogusat
- Rozella Clyde
- Carl Fenske
- Mitchell Horn
- John Von Achen
Voters will choose three from each party. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 7.
