Woodring Prevails In Long Valley Election,Unofficial Results Say

LONG VALLEY, NJ — The polls have closed as of 8 p.m. in New Jersey.

For the local school board race, incumbent Lisa D. Woodring is the projected winner at 2,837 votes, according to the Washington Township Registrar and Deputy Clerk.

Washington Township is not having any contested municipal races this year. Michael A. Marino and Richard Wall are running for the two open seats, with terms lasting three years, on the township council.

Three town-specific seats on the West Morris Regional High School District Board of Education are also up for election in November, representing three of the regional district's towns.

In Long Valley, incumbent Lisa D. Woodring is seeking re-election and is being challenged by Dominic D. Esposito, who is running under the "Empowering Our Families" slogan.

The vote tallies remain unofficial until they are certified later by the Morris County Clerk.

  • Esposito: 2,499
